Dr. Morgan received a bachelor degree from Tulane University in Cellular Neuroscience and then attended the University of Denver for a specialized masters degree in Forensic Psychology. His doctorate degree is in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) and was completed at Pepperdine University in Los Angeles, CA where he specialized in trauma work with emergency personnel. Not content with a terminal doctoral degree Dr. Morgan followed this with a post-doctoral in-depth masters in clinical psychopharmacology at Alliant University focusing on the physiological aspects of human performance and medications on the brain.
As an athlete and an adventurer Dr. Morgan has sought ways to push the boundaries and improve health while simultaneously advancing individual performance. From rock climbing to basketball to skiing and backpacking, the cognitive aspects of our experience drive us to perform at the highest level. This thirst for constant improvement has driven his development of Paragon Performance Medicine to not only address the physical aspects of performance but the cognitive and neurological functioning of human ability. Through the Paragon model of personal performance, neurotraining and community engagement long term health and performance are enhanced to improve functioning in multiple domains.
