Paragon provides services for athletic departments tailored for team size, performance, and sport from golf to football. These services present in a multifaceted approach to include direct one on one mental performance training with athletes, to coach consultations, optimization workshops, and team development. Through topics of leadership, team dynamics, group flow, communication and a culture of responsible interdependence, groups of athletes can be trained to be more efficient and to supplement the skills of the coaching staff. Team trainings help student athletes bond, learn, and provide a supportive evidence-based environment for personal moral and athletic development.

What are some major components and focuses of group teamwork sessions?
Our professional staff will coordinate and work closely with the coaching team and base their decisions on collected data to tailor and customize sessions to focus on specific needs of different teams and to address problem points in given team dynamics. While every session will be fluid and focus on issues necessary for peak performance of that particular team, the below topics will likely be touched on in most sessions.

What are the benefits of team/group work?
Team/group sessions are a unique venue for players and coaches to create a shared vision for their team that they can all be responsible and accountable for. Group work allows team members better understand each other operate in the sport (what motivates them, how they like to play, what feedback is helpful, what role they take on the team, etc.).
